Notice for HD/ED Diagnosis Timelines

This notice regarding HD/ED diagnosis shares an important update for members and outlines how to plan ahead to avoid time-related disappointments.

HD/ED Diagnosis processing times have increased. Since January 1, 2025, results can take up to 3 months from the date your X-rays are submitted.

To avoid any time-related disappointments, please plan early:

Present your dog for HD/ED as soon as she turns 12 months of age (minimum eligible age).
Do not wait until a show, breed survey, or mating plan is close.
If you have a deadline, allow a full 3-month buffer for the HD/ED Diagnosis.
